Ontario East Wins Women’s Central T20 Championship

Ontario’s East Team emerged victorious at the July 30 – August 2, 2021, Cricket Canada Women Central T20 Championships. It was a highly competitive tournament, hosted by Cricket Canada and Cricket Ontario that was played at Centennial Park and which also featured West and South Teams. The final was contested between Ontario’s East and West teams with East claiming championship winning gold and West settling for silver.
Players of the East and West teams posed with their medals and Coaches Sheriff Budhoo and Praim Persaud (Cricket Ontario Vice-President). Also featuring in the picture is Ingleton Liburd, General Manager of Cricket Canada, Shah Zafar, President of Cricket Ontario and match officials.
The following are the players awarded for their outstanding individual performances at the closing ceremony:

2nd Match: Kamna Michandani, 4/18 and 11 runs
3rd Match: Achini Perera, 43 runs
