The Ontario Softball Cricket League 2022
regular Season 20 Overs Final was scheduled
for September 17, 2022, at Ashtonbee Park,
Scarborough, when Mercenary final assignment
in the show-piece event concluded against Carr
Tec. The event was live streamed on http://www.cricclubs.

Mercenary looked like a well-oiled machine dominating this
year’s games winning 12 out of 13 games at the preliminary
round. They had already taken the T10 and T15 over
trophies to stand at the top of the table with 72 points and
a net run rate of 4.86 followed by Berbice Vipers 72 points
and a net run rate of 0.12
Carr Tec finished off at the number 3 spot with 60 points
and a net run rate of 3.00 bagging up 10 wins which has
given them the confidence for the showdown. This year 14
teams participated in the season. Both Mercenary and Carr
Tec whipped up some excellent performances with their
playoff matches.
In a head-to-head encounter in the T20 was Mercenary and Carr Tec, two
dynamite teams. Defending champions Mercenary and key rivals Carr Tec went
on to battle on Saturday Sept 17 at the Ashtonbee Reservoir for the 2022 Ontario
Softball Cricket League T20 – Regular Season Final. Mercenary made 224/6 off
20 overs. In response Carr Tec crumbled to 86/9 and departed with a runner up
trophy.
In the OSCL 2022 T15 Knock out final played on AUG 14, 2022, Mercenary vs
Canadian Legends Highlights of the Sunday August 14 game at Ashtonbee Park,
Scarborough
In the final of the 2022 Ontario Softball Cricket League (OSCL) 15-over knockout
competition, the proceedings started with Canadian Legends captain winning the
toss and inviting Mercenary to bat first. Mercenary took first strike and led the
team to 101/8 from 15-overs and continued to dominate the scene with their
bowling as they limited Canadian Legends to 83/9 leaving with a runner-up trophy.
