Daulat Khan Canadian Cricket’s Coach For All Seasons!

Before immigrating to Canada, Daulat Khan
had played for his native Afghanistan’s
National cricket team for several years
and was actually its captain in 2002. Khan
had also served as the Afghanistan National
Cricket Team Head Coach in 2004. In 2009
Khan was also appointed as Head Coach for
the Afghanistan Under 19 team’s ICC World
Cup qualification matches.
Since moving to Canada, Daulat has held
several coaching portfolios with Canadian
National teams. He has served as fitness,
fielding and batting consultant from around
2015 up to until currently.
His most recent assignment was as a member of the Canadian Squad for its participation in the Oman-hosted ICC 2022 T20 World Cup Qualifier Tournament. That tournament was actually the second World Cup competition Khan had participated in as a Coach. He has also been involved in four other such tournaments as an Assistant Coach to the Canadian Men’s Senior team and twice in an identical role with the National U19 squad.
Daulat Khan completed his Level 3 Cricket Course in Dubai in 2003. He also holds a Diploma in Cricket Coaching Courses from England’s R66T Academy. His coaching expertise encompasses the areas of Skill Acquisition, Batting, owling, Fielding, Wicket keeping as well as Strength and Conditioning.
Khan has also completed international cricket certification courses in Australia and South Africa. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce at Pakistan’s Peshawar University as well as a Business Certificate from Canada’s Sheridan College. He is currently pursuing an online MBA at Cumbria University.
