Canada Defeat Hosts Brazil To Remain Unbeaten At The 2022 SA Women’s T20 Cships.

Canada secured a comfortable 45-run victory over their Brazilian hosts as matches
continued at the 2022 South American Women’s Championships. Batting first
the Canadians posted a challenging 177/3 in their 20 overs. In reply, Brazil
could only get as far as 132/5 off to their 20 overs. Losing in the end by 45 runs.

Canada’s 177/3 first-strike total was built on the foundation of a 121-run
opening partnership between Danielle Mcgahey 78 and skipper Divya Saxena
