Fresh from his heroics in the just recently concluded 2019 ICC World Cup, New Zealand’s Trent Boult will be among an impressive array of international cricketers that have also been selected by the Toronto Nationals for this year’s GT20 Canada 2019 Tournament. Joining Boult in the Nationals ranks will be South-African wicket-keeper batsman Heinrich Klaasen, Indian medium pacer Manpreet Singh Gony and Australian all-rounder Chris Green.
The Toronto Nationals will also have within its ranks five ICC Associate country players. These will be comprised of Nepal’s leg break and googly bowler Sandeep Lamichhane, Scottish all-rounder and ICC Associate Cricketer of the year 2018 Calum MacLeod, two UAE representatives batsman Chirag Suri and wicket-keeper batsman Ghulam Shabber, as well as USA all-rounder Jasdeep “Jessy” Singh are the other players in the squad.
