SCA’s October Report

September witnessed intense rivalries as clubs vie for supremacy in their respective Divisions. It was a thrilling end to
a successful summer of cricket in the Scarborough Cricket Association.
Ambassadors Sports Club hot off their number one position
for finishing with the most points in the Elite Division, had an
intense final against Victoria Park Cricket Club in which they
won by 4 wickets to secure the double title.
The final matchup for the First Division title witnessed a clinical
display of cricket from Kaieteur International ‘B” as they defeated
United Titans comfortably to claim victory by 7 wickets.
In a thrilling final for the honours of Premier Division Champions,
Naseeb Cricket Club emerged victorious in a nailbiting finish to
win by 1 run against Champions Cricket Club.
In a rain-affected final for the Second Division championship,
Maple Cricket Club defeated Toronto Lions by 52 runs via the
Duckworth-Lewis method.
